Ron Paul

This is a copy of a forum post I made this morning.
I was being vague and insinuated that Ron Paul is a bad choice for President.

I'll elaborate even further perhaps later:

The dude is a straight up isolationist who's biggest goal is to hand over federal agencies (FDA, FAA, DEA, etc.) to big buisness. It's called "privatizing", its like the anti-socialism.
The lay person may look at this and go "Great! Government in the hands of the people" or simply, "great! small government, less taxes."

My frustration comes from those who take his admirable values (low taxes, smaller government, separation etc.) but fail to realize the potential of what they are saying.
Under President Paul you could expect a foreign policy that ceases to exist, and a government owned by AT&T, Verizon, Wal Mart, etc.

The funniest part about all this, much of Paul's support is internet based (digg.com for example, has a major hard on for this guy), but one of his main goals would be to privatize the internet: (buh bye ICANN) hasta la by-by net neutrality! Hello "The Internet, from Cingular/AT&T!"
