Musings & Mannerisms
If you have Pownce, you've read this already. If you don't have Pownce... hit me up for an invite.
It's strange being away from home for so long...you start getting used to certain things about other cultures, and I feel it sort of permanently changes you.
It is not always a big thing, and for met at least it has been mostly mannerisms if I am not sure I'll every lose. Bits and pieces of accents from one country to another, regional slang, heck, I've even started writing my '7''s with that line in the middle (because many European cultures draw the '1' as if it were a cursive lower-case "L".
What is even stranger to me though, is that I've been on the road for about 2 and a half months...and it feels like nothing. This has become normal...my job. I miss home, but in many ways I no longer feel like I always have to go back there.
A new step forward perhaps, at the very least a giant 180 from how I was feeling from April to May of this year.
